Gen Kelsang Tubchen is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Centre Aberdeen. Ordained as a Buddhist nun in 2003, she is an inspiring teacher, particularly relating the teachings to daily life.

She is known for her clear, powerful and practical teachings and her deep experience of meditation. Kadampa Meditation Centre Aberdeen (KMC Aberdeen) was established in 2018 to offer a range of meditation classes and classes in Modern Buddhism for Aberdeen and Northern Scotland. Having recently completed our building’s renovations in the heart of Aberdeen, we now function as a place of peace and refuge for everyone to enjoy. We offer in-person classes (when restrictions allow) and a vibrant program of online meditation classes and courses. Perfect for those working from home, shielding, or living further away. Our classes are suitable for people from all backgrounds and include practical advice on working with life’s challenges, prioritising our mental health, and living a happy, meaningful life.
